About the college
Shetty Physiotherapy College is a proud member of the Shetty Group of Institutions (SGI) in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, and is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru. We bring together solid scientific grounding and practical clinical skill, so that every student learns to assess, treat and rehabilitate with confidence.
Teaching here is evidence-based and interdisciplinary. Modern equipment, well-equipped rehabilitation spaces and experienced faculty — joined by visiting specialists — guide students through orthopaedics, neurology, sports medicine, cardiopulmonary care and community rehabilitation. Patient contact begins in the early semesters and grows into a full six-month internship.

Anatomy, physiology and biomechanics — the language of the human body.
Exercise therapy, electrotherapy and manual techniques, with early supervised patient contact.
Rotate through orthopaedic, neuro, sports, cardiopulmonary, paediatric and community settings.
Six months of full-time clinical internship, then hospitals, rehab centres, sports clinics, private practice or MPT.
